The Insignificant Adventures of Doc Oscar is an upcoming comic book series by David Gloyd, which follows the life of everyone’s favorite slacker and wanna-be doctor who was first introduced in David’s silent film short, Is There a Doctor in the House?, along with several of the offbeat characters he encounters. Doc often fails to find significance in his many run-ins with the law, disgruntled “patients”, aliens, and supernatural creatures while seeking meaning in his life. The comic adds to, and expands upon, stories from the short film series, while also telling brand new tales.
